Well, that's a really good question. See when you have to write for someone else, well it just kinda seems--forced. They expect stuff and you have to deliver. I just wanted someplace where I could vent and not worry too much about what anyone thinks. Now don't get me wrong. I love being the editor and I have a lot of friends over at rawrcast.com. It's just that I have a lot of other things in my life that don't revolve around the World of Warcraft. I am working on becoming a chef. I have 3 boys and another on the way. My wife is an awesome woman that I love so much. See I am, like everyone of you out there reading this, a complex person. I want this blog to reflect that.
So, about the name. Yeah, I totally ripped off Pike over at Aspect of the Hare. I am not a rabbit though, but I thought that the 'Aspect of' and the 'Daddy' combination would tip off WoW players as to what this blog is about.
Long story short, my internet sucks because I literally live in fucking BFE. I wanted to get my raid weekly quest out of the way, and my Guild runs it on Friday nights. Playing at home is kinda like trying to empty a swimming pool through a straw. On my narrowband connection, I can't do a 25 man raid. I just can't. I know this. But I tried to run it anyway. I mean, I wasn't even in the room with the boss, and I still got d/c. I came back in just in time to see the loot rolls.
Anyway, I have to work tomorrow, so maybe I can use the interwebs there to run it again.
